[Powderworks] Liking the early albums

I became an Oils fan after hearing one song: The Dead Heart. To this day, this is my favorite of their many tunes. I heard it when I was ten, so the early albums were definitely before I got into pop music, so they're just not my style.

Overall, I'd have to say that Diesel is, in my opinion, the finest rock album ever made. Species, Blue Sky, E&S&M, and Countdown are stellar albums the likes of which few bands can ever hope to make. Redneck, PWAP, the Real Thing (except the title track, HATED that) and Capricornia are very, very good. Bird Noises, Red Sails, and Breathe are solid. The Blue album I like some stuff off of. Head Injuries I do not.

How many other bands have made 5 albums that are in my mind, true classics of rock? Um, U2 made War, The Unforgettable Fire, the J Tree, and Achtung Baby. That's only 4. So yeah, I don't particularly like the very early Oils stuff, but I'm still every bit a serious and passionate fan.
