In response to a question as to how Pete Townsend could sell his music for
commercial use by a listener on a radio show, Townsend replied in the
following manner;

And I must paraphrase.

If your image of my song changes because its used in a commercial, well
that's your problem, not mine.

I understand the following;
       1. The music industry is a business and therefore from the moment an
artist signs a record deal he or she becomes commerce.
       2. An artist must and has the right to earn money.
But when is enough, enough? Do these people have any integrity? Apparently
not.

What did the Lester Bang character say in Almost Famous, "swill merchants?"
