<P>I am intrigued by the fact that several bands have mentioned Midnight Oil as an influence. Can anyone summarise what some of these bands have said (eg Garbage at MOne). Obviously the tribute album showed some young bands that have been listening to the Oils but what about these other bands? The Ramones? Garbage? </P>
