Back in 1993 during an "intimate and interactive" (acoustic) show in
Canada's MuchMusic, someone in the audience asked whether the hand logo had
any relationship to aboriginal rock art -- or, presumably, anything else.

Peter Garrett's reply was, essentially, "No, it's just my hand."

So I'd assume the child labour thing is a coincidence, though I doubt any of
the Oils would have a problem with it.
