I work p/t at an HMV store in Vancouver and we recently featured Capricornia on our "HMV Recommends" rack. This is what the rack card said

* Australia's Midnight Oil has been cranking out insistent, socially-conscious rock for over 25 years, and their latest is a fine addition to their catalogue.
* Perhaps best known for their hit-spawning albums like DIESEL AND DUST (1987) and BLUE SKY MINING (1990) the Oil's distinctive sound remains unchanged, topped off with the unmistakable voice of seven-foot-tall singer Peter Garret. (NOTE: I'm 6'7 and stood eye to eye with Peter backstage after the 2nd Commodore show!)
* The new album is propelled by ringing twelve-string guitars, a locomotive of a rhythm section, and the politically-charged lyrical edge the band has built their reputation on. Fans of their earlier records will find much to like about Midnight Oil 2002.

SOUNDS LIKE: Hunters & Collectors; JOSHUE TREE-era U2; Listen Like Thieves-era INXS

I liked the write-up until the ending! INXS?

Geoffrey
