Ok, after many listens I am now sick of it all. Yet still I keep playing it.
It must be an addiction. First part is much better than the second. Second
bit sounds like it could have been a Ghostwriters mini album (Mosquito to
World). However
I have decided that the best songs are by far Tone Poem and Poets & Slaves.
Both songs I wish would go on for longer. Everything else is good...I just
think it is way too...what's the word?? nice, easy going or something like
that. Maybe that idea would change if I heard the songs live. Tone Poem is
very dark and passionate. I like that. Riff starts off a bit cheesy but
quickly makes up for it with some fine lyrics and great chorus/middle bit.
Great tune, I just keep playing it over and over. And Poets is great. Great
keyboard sounds remind me of stuff from the countdown album like Outside
World.
