do you mean the WOMAD tour? it turned out to be a pretty good tour.
Peter Gabriel, Live (who where great then, but have really gone downhill!) -
and a side stage with some decent acts like the Levellers. it was may more
low-key and not as "young" as lollapalooza.

oils put on a good show at the festival in Jone's Beach - i remember they
invited people in the front row to come onstage and play back-up tamboreens
for bushfire. anyone on the list lucky enough to be one of those people??
