I think you are right on about this one Trevor. I wouldnt say the cow is
painted or tinted golden. Its merely a trick of the light and it may be that
the pic was taken at sunset hence the gold tones.
Also probably another continuation of the Redneck theme. I was listening to
an old KROQ interview the other night and Peter was talking about Mackay in
North Qld( Situated In Capricornia, ie the region in Australia above the
Tropic Of Capricorn) being Redneck territory like the US South. Good ol
cowboys like George W. Hence the golden cow/calf
And Songs with titles like Golden Age and Too Much Sunshine. Altho I have
yet to have the pleasure of hearing them since they never came over here on
their Oz dates last year.
