I saw The Whitlams open for the Oils out in Cabramatta, west of Sydney in
97.  Excellent band, I wish they were coming along on this tour.

Gee, someone in the Oils camp must really like Palladium. Just noticed that
they are the support band again for the warm-up gigs in Sydney & Melbourne
next week.

I think this will be Palladium's third separate tour as support act for the
Oils, which is quite a rare feat these days. 

I've got nothing against Palladium, but IMHO, i'd prefer to see some other
bands get a chance to ply their trade in front of potential new fans among
the Oils crowds. I reckon Perth band Eskimo Joe, for example, would go well
as support band. 

Can't please everyone i suppose.
