I'm not in the US, but in Europe.. overseas to Australia anyway. I've 
ordered twice from Whammo and didn't have any problems. The delivery time 
was around 2 weeks which wasn't very fast, but not unusually slow either. 
The second shipment had the address hand written which gave me the 
impression they aren't a big company.

I've also used Chaosmusic (several times) and Red Eye Records. Chaosmusic 
lives up to their name, but they are cheap and I've gotten my order in just 
4 days twice.. it can't get much faster. Once they took a lot longer but 
when I emailed them about it I got a very polite reply and the CD arrived 
just a few days later. Red Eye was pretty slow and expensive.. but I've 
been to their store in Sydney so I knew what they were like beforehand.

Several years ago I bought some CDs from a Perth-based shop called Limited 
Slip Discs, the service was very good but I don't know if they are online 
or exist any more.

I generally buy from either Chaos or Whammo, depending on which one has the 
item I want at a cheaper price.
