[Powderworks] My letter to Hartford Courant reviewer

I sent an email to the reviewer basically saying that
I disagreed with his review and encouraged him to
catch a live show during their current tour to see
exactly how much heart the Oils really do put into
their music. He replied thanking me for my input and
said that he would make an effort to catch a show if
they come to his area.

I usually dont care about the opions of reviewers.
Not many of the bands I like have any critical support
(reviewers seem to follow the latest trends and
support insipid boy bands and such). However, if
reviews discourage people form buying the CD the
resulting poor sales may ultimately decrease our
chances of getting future tours here in the United
States. I would hate for the current US tour to be
thelast.
