Hi everyone,

I have a few minutes before I head to the dentist so I figured Id give you
some thoughts on the performance last night at World in NYC. I must say that
I thought it was one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life.

Before I talk about the show, let me describe something about the place.
There was a little catwalk-like ramp coming into the crowd from the stage
that was set up for use by Britney Spears today. Let's just say tat Peter
liked it and during Dreamworld he came out onto it and started doing his
dance. Before that he said that this was going to be a profound moment as he
was going to walk all over Britney's stage. During King of the Mountain he
allowed fans to jump onto it and dance, resulting in that stage filling with
about 15 people and Peter. He also came out a few times after this as well.

Musical highlights for me were:

Put Down that Weapon
In the Valley (with Peter singing, Jim on keyboards, and Rob joining in for
vocal harmony later).
Power and the Passion
Bullroarer
Only the Strong
Hercules
Sometimes
and every other song.

I really like the new songs and am very anxious for the new album.

I am sure somebody has a set list to post.

In conclusion, I thought the Oils were amazing last night! If anyone
associated with the band is reading this, please thank them for coming to
NYC. The last two months have been very stressful for us that live and work
and NYC and last night's show was a beautiful release.

I cannot wait for the next tour in 2002!

Finally, I thought Will Hoge was great as well. I had seen them again in
August and they were good then but last night they were much better. It must
be the experience of touring with the Oils that has improved their
performances.

Peace

Phil
