Hi Dutch,

That is indeed a good book. Be sure to check out Rob Hirst's tour diary "Willie's Bar & Grill" as well, and if you can find it, Andrew McMillan's "Strict Rules," which covers MO's Blackfella - Whitefella tour in detail. Cheers!

Happy Valentine,

Thanx for all the feedback concerning Cold Chisel. They are now firmly on my list of things Aussie for further investigation.

They are referenced 3 times in Mark Dodshon's "Beds are Burning" but only mentioned by name, no details.

I was overjoyed to find a copy of Dodshon's book for US$20. All other copies listed on line, new or used, are priced US$200 or more! I am savoring this book, reading it slowly at leisure, rotating it with other OZ books I have found on line. Most of these books are so rare that US$200 seems to be the typical going rate!

I have been very fortunate to find copies of enticing books at US$20 or less on Amazon Marketplace, which I snapped up since all other copies were priced US$200 or more! I even found songbooks for "Blue Sky Mining", "Breathe", and "Earth and Sun and Moon"! Cannot find "Diesel and Dust" songbook, alas!

Enough blather!
Have a G'Day,
Dutch
