hi, i'm a french big fans of the oils and i was wondering...
in France, midnight oil became famous with 10-1 until blue sky mine but after, with E&S&M less people were listening to midnight oil, after blue sky mine was the decline of the oils in france

and after e&s&m it became worse and worse, they felt into oblivion

was it the same in australia ?

I'm going to agree on Heaven and Earth. I also really like What's So Funny Bout Peace, Love and Understanding, but then that's just a cover. Gotta say that there's not too many really strong Oils B-Sides, though...

Cheers,

Hey, Powderworkers!

I was reading some of the list's archives from ten years ago, and it made me nostalgic for some of our "What's your favourite Oils [blank]" discussions.  So I've decided to ask you all which Oils b-side you really think should have made the "host album" of the single it appeared on.

For me, it's Heaven and Earth, which is as good as any song on Redneck Wonderland, and would have been a brilliant album closer.  Drop in the Ocean would have been better as a b-side, for that matter, as it is really jarring in the context of the rest of the album.
