On saturday 24/10 at Kerroch in the village of Languidic (France) a stele was erected in memorie of 5 australians soldiers, killed during the night of 21st and 22d of june 1942. They were flying a Z1383 bomber, an english plane.

crew members : Robert John Buckingham (24 years old), Frederick Roy Martin (24 years old), William Stalker Mc Queen (22 years old), James Moores (27 years old) et Raymond George Marafu Rodget (23 years old).

they were here in france for freedom, to fight the nazis.
