'We got our eyes on the firmament, hands on the armaments, heads full of
arguments and words for our monuments...'
who wouldn't enjoy blasting out these clever lines?

Onya Jeremy - Progress is a great song - at their best, MO are like a

Apparently Progess was/is one of PG's faves to play live - he loved
spitting out those venomously sarcastic lyrics.
You may be saaaafe in your hemisphere, but there's so much junk in the
stratosphere....

Hi all,
It's been a bit quiet since the gigs, but I had an Oils epiphany
on a few days ago that I wanted to share. I was cruising along on
my normal morning run and had my iPod on shuffle with some 3000+
songs (10% Oils). Many songs had driving beats, perfect for a run,
but then "Progress" came on and it was like the world changed. My
body felt no pain and all I wanted to do was PLAY music! I love
the Oils because, every time I listen (which is daily), I just
want to be back on stage performing and playing music. I feel
their live energy every time I listen and sadly, I'm one of those
that NEVER saw the Oils live...what an amazing band...
Jeremy
P.S. I also can't get over how much I love the way Peter sings,
"Manhattanization is comiiiiIIIIIiiin'" in the studio version of
"Progress"...phenomenal :-)
